Here are a selection of photos taken at the Yacht Club opening day and Tasar Traveller races
Opening Day 2019
At our official season opening the Collins family handed over to the club the Fire Bug that they built in Bernie’s memory. It was a dream of Bernie’s to build this boat so that junior sailors could enjoy this fast little boat in the Pirie river. Doug, Frank and Mark finished it off beautifully after Bernie passed away. Viv tested it out in very trying conditions on Saturday afternoon. We look forward to seeing it sailed in races in the future. Thanks to Roger for the photo. Thanks very much to the Collins family, Doug, Gene and Vivonne pictured here with Commodore Richard Mackinnon.
