Kaz Eaton receiving the Yachting South Australia’s Volunteer of the Year award for 2016/2017 for services to sailing. The photo shows the award being presented by Commodore Richard Mackinnon after the opening ceremony.
This is a prestigious award and Kaz received it for her considerable efforts starting and running the successful Junior Sail Training program which in now in it’s third season. Our club has benefited hugely from this program, and the Adult sail training sessions, in bring new members and a good deal of vitality into the club. Congratulations to Kaz on a much deserved award.
